We build them like they used to!
“We build them like they used to.” What does that mean exactly?
This is a phrase that gets thrown around by people who have bought a product only to later find out that it’s junk. It didn’t last.
My mom had a Maytag washer in the 1970’s, I swear you could throw a bag of cement into it and it would still be working 30 years later. In fact, I think it was, even without the cement.
We build them like that. Hand cut, old school cool that will last not for years but centuries with a little maintenance along the way.
Formerly The Old Lyme Barn Company, founded in 2015, it was decided the local name no longer fit the mission. Our new name reflects our expansion beyond the town where we got our start and is more reflective of our wider geographic scope. Connecticut River Barn Co. is more distinctive, memorable and will stand out in a competitive market.
Our Commitment to craftsmanship and the ancient art of timber framing remains our first priority.
